cause and effect
so, i've been thinking about this for a while now. about 2 years ago, my work had like this third row bench setting outside, it was the break couch or the smokers couch. this bum use to crash on it at night, and more than once we had to kick him off in the morning. we would leave bags of cans outside for him to recycle. i've been there for like 5 years, and he was already there when i got there. well, one day something was spilled on the bench. no, it wasn't human fluid of any sort. it was some sort of resin. it was gooey, like a lubricant, like for a machine.....sorry.....it was nasty. so, we threw the couch away. gone. a few weeks later i was watching the news and i see this man on the news. "wow, what's this guy doing on the news. did he get arrested?" nope. he had climbed into a recycling bin and covered himself with cardboard and such to stay warm. the truck came and collected the bin. they found him in twin falls. squished. we threw away the bench. bum gets squished. sad.
