Vampirates vs Sharktopus: Fight!

This would be the ultimate monster mashup battle royal. io9 is reporting that the Syfy network (formally the SciFi network) will be doing a Sharktopus monster movie

There are several Vampirate fan movies on YouTube (that are only slightly less good than most Syfy movies). httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVP4IyBy2uQ There are even a series of Youth Fiction Vampirate books out.
